Description

European walnut is known for its historical use in high-quality furniture and objects. This noble hardwood has a rich grey-brown to chocolate-brown or even reddish-brown colour with a strong sapwood area, which is usually evened out by steaming. The colour-contrasting annual rings give the veneer a stripy, sometimes flowery texture. The veneer appearance is given various variations by differently pronounced dark brown to almost black colour stripes.
