Beams and rafters

Hand-chopped, hand-planed or hand-hewn beams are removed from old farmhouses, stables or factories. The old wood beams are nailed to the outside, roughly cleaned (washed) if required and also preboured on request. Hand-chopped rafters made of trusses are ideal for interior design, furniture construction or as a visible roof construction for new buildings due to their weaker dimension.

As a specialty, we also offer press beams called wine press beams. These extra large beams (XL / XXL) with original surface come from old wine presses in very strong dimensions, partially decorated with carvings and provided with a year.
