All veneer samples are labelled with the wood species (trade name) as well as the botanical name. Under Documents you will find the respective list of which wood species this collection contains. The samples are packed loosely in a cardboard box.

The size corresponds approximately to A4, i.e. approx. 30 x 21 cm. For certain types of wood, the veneer samples are narrower and smaller. The veneer thickness can vary between 0.5 and 1.5 mm and cannot be specially selected. The patterns are partly laminated with fleece on the back and can be joined in width.

The veneer samples serve exclusively to illustrate the character of the wood and the colouring. Wood is a naturally grown raw material which can show irregularities in colour and structure.
