PROFI by adler is the country house floorboard made of larch and spruce for your home. Planks made of coniferous woods such as larch and spruce radiate naturalness, warmth and cosiness. In combination with the appropriate furnishings, you can create both a traditional Alpine atmosphere or a young and modern interior style. Each of the two woods has its own strengths and advantages: Larch flooring is somewhat harder, while spruce flooring is very popular with many people due to its light colour.

In our PROFI by adler product line, we process Nordic spruce or Styrian larch wood into three-layer country house floorboards with a wear layer of approx. 4 mm and a width of 186 mm with a maximum length of 2200 mm. The planks are manufactured with a bevel on the long sides and treated with our natural warm yet hard-wearing NATURA+ oil finish.

The plank PROFI by adler is formaldehyde-free, approved by the building authorities and complies with fire protection class Dfl-S1.

Dimensions and packaging

PROFI by adler is produced in width 186 as well as in length up to 2200 mm. The parquet planks are packed in cartons of 8 planks each.

Surface treatment & colour variations

The basis of our surface treatment is our NATURA+ WOCA oiled oxidative oil finish on a machine-brushed wood structure. This means that the soft "years" are brushed out, leaving you with the hard and therefore more resistant "years". You can also get our larch with a lye pre-treatment, which gives the plank a slightly bleached character. We then oil the surface with either natural or white oil. Through a slightly different very special treatment we achieve that our larch plank ANTIK looks like a naturally aged larch parquet. We recommend a finish treatment with WOCA maintenance oil after installation for private or commercial use. Wood is a natural product. Depending on the ingredients in the wood and the wood grain, there can always be colour variations in colour-treated surfaces. These colour differences can occur between different product batches, but also within one product batch. This applies in particular to coloured surfaces, as smoking, staining, lye and the application of colour pigments can lead to different colour shades due to the structure of the wood. However, this is a testimony to the authenticity of the natural product "wood".

Installation & underfloor heating

The PROFI by adler product can be laid as a floating floor or glued to your screed over its entire surface. We also approve our PROFI by adler plank for hot water-based underfloor heating. The thermal resistance of this product is approx. 0.133 m²k / W (according to EN14342). Should you wish to install this PROFI by adler wood plank on an underfloor heating system, we always recommend gluing it to your screed over the entire surface. The maximum surface temperature of 23°C to 28°C should not be exceeded. For the exact guidelines for installation on underfloor heating, please refer to the installation instructions.

Care & indoor climate

To ensure that you enjoy your three-layer softwood floor after installation, you should care for it accordingly. You should also pay attention to a healthy room climate for your parquet, which is made of the living natural material "wood", but also for you. This exists at a relative humidity of approx. 40 to 60% and a pleasant room temperature of 19 to 22°C. If you do not comply with these guideline values, you should take appropriate care of your parquet. If you do not adhere to these guideline values, your wooden floor can suffer great damage.

Certification

The PROFI plank can be produced as 100% PEFC-certified parquet on request. Please always ask specifically before placing an order whether certified raw material is available.
