Parquet made of planks is also very much in demand in large residential projects. In order to be able to offer an Adler parquet product at favourable conditions for this area as well, we have developed the short plank BASIC LONG by adler with the dimensions 1090 x 130 x 10 mm. This short oak plank is a very low-priced alternative to the normal two- or three-layer country house plank, but is still produced in Dirlewang Germany according to the high Adler quality criteria.

We offer BASIC LONG by adler LONG in only three different surfaces and a mixed grading "classic". This allows us to run larger batches and pass on the cost savings achieved in the production process to our customers. The short plank BASIC LONG by adler also has a slightly lower wear layer of approx. 3.0 mm oak sawn veneer as well as a slightly cheaper backing material of HDF, which also reduces the cost rate.

Due to the wear layer of approx. 3 mm, this short plank only corresponds to fire protection class Dfl-S1. Unfortunately, due to the HDF carrier layer used, this parquet is not formaldehyde-free, but complies with the E1 standard. This short plank Basic by adler LONG has the general building authority approval.

Dimensions and packaging

BASIC by adler is produced in a width of 130 mm and a length of 1090 mm. The parquet planks are packed in cartons of 12 planks each.

The parquet planks are produced in the assortment "classic".

Surface treatment & colour variations

The short plank BASIC LONG by adler is available in our UV-cured acrylic lacquer as well as on the basis of our NATURA+ WOCA oiled surface treatment. The oiled version is always on a machine brushed surface. For the factory-oiled surfaces, we recommend a finish treatment with WOCA maintenance oil after installation for private or commercial use. Wood is a natural product. Depending on the ingredients in the wood and the wood grain, there may always be colour variations in colour-treated surfaces. These colour differences can occur between different product batches, but also within one product batch. This applies in particular to coloured surfaces, as smoking, staining, lyes and the application of colour pigments can lead to different colour shades due to the wood structure. However, this is a certificate of authenticity for the natural product "wood".

Installation & underfloor heating

The single plank BASIC LONG by adler has a two-layer structure and must be glued over the entire surface. The thermal resistance of this product is approx. 0.060 m²k / W (according to EN14342). The maximum surface temperature of 23°C to 28°C should not be exceeded. For the exact guidelines for installation on underfloor heating, please refer to the installation instructions.

Care & indoor climate

To ensure that you get a lot of pleasure from your parquet floor after installation, it should be cared for appropriately. The lacquered version must also be cared for properly. You can find the care instructions in our current care instructions. You should also pay attention to a healthy room climate for your parquet, which is made of the living natural material "wood", but also for you. This exists at a relative air humidity of approx. 40 to 60% and a pleasant room temperature of 19 to 22°C. If you do not adhere to these guideline values, your wooden floor can suffer great damage.
