VILLA 35 by adler | Oak "Natur" | economy | brushed | natural-oiled
Oak flooring is more in vogue than ever - which is not surprising, after all, oak is one of the hardest European woods. It is therefore extremely resilient and dimensionally stable. This makes oak planks the ideal flooring in every home.
In order to be able to offer oak planks for a somewhat smaller budget, we have created VILLA by adler 35, a finished parquet with a somewhat thinner wear layer of approx. 3.5 mm. Our VILLA by adler 35 oak planks are available in a width of 186 mm and a length of 1800 to 2000 mm. The planks have a bevel on the long side, which beautifully emphasises the typical country house plank character. We offer VILLA by adler 35 with two machine-brushed or structured, oiled surfaces: You have the choice between a natural oak wood tone "natural" and the "swiss weiss" surface, which has a white colour shimmer. It is possible that the sapwood content at the edge of the plank is slightly higher, making the plank slightly lighter at the edge.
The VILLA by adler 35 plank is formaldehyde-free and complies with fire protection class Cfl-S1. VILLA by adler 35 has the general approval of the building authorities.
Dimensions and packaging
VILLA by adler 35 is available in the dimensions 1800/2000 x 186 x 14 mm and is packed in cartons of 8 planks each.
Grading
According to our factory grading, this "economy" quality is described as follows: Grading with knots that are cemented brown. A slight amount of sapwood is possible. Peeling and wind cracking may occur, which corresponds to the nature of a more rustic grading. Unfortunately, this cannot be prevented.
Surface treatment & colour variations
The basis of our surface treatment is our NATURA+ WOCA oiled oxidative oil finish on a machine brushed wood structure. This means they go on the "hard" years as the "soft" growth rings have been brushed out. This strengthens the resistance of the surface. We recommend a finish treatment with WOCA maintenance oil after installation for private or commercial use. Wood is a natural product. Depending on the ingredients in the wood and the wood grain, there can always be colour variations in colour-treated surfaces. These colour differences can occur between different product batches, but also within one product batch. This applies in particular to coloured surfaces, as smoking, staining, lyes and the application of colour pigments can lead to different colour shades due to the wood structure. However, this is a testimony to the authenticity of the natural product "wood".
Installation & underfloor heating
The VILLA by adler 35 product can be laid as a floating floor or glued to your screed over the entire surface. We also approve our VILLA by adler 35 plank for hot water based underfloor heating. The thermal resistance of this product is approx. 0.122 m²k / W (according to EN14342). Should you wish to install this VILLA by adler 35 wood plank on underfloor heating, we always recommend gluing it to your screed over the entire surface. The maximum surface temperature of 23°C to 28°C should not be exceeded. For the exact guidelines for installation on underfloor heating, please refer to the installation instructions.
Care & indoor climate
To ensure that you get a lot of pleasure from your three-layer multilayer parquet after installation, you should care for it accordingly. You should also pay attention to a healthy room climate for your parquet, which is made of the living natural material "wood", but also for you. This exists at a relative humidity of approx. 40 to 60% and a pleasant room temperature of 19 to 22°C. If you do not comply with these guideline values, you should take appropriate care of your parquet. If you do not adhere to these guideline values, your wooden floor can suffer great damage.
Certification
The VILLA plank can be produced as 100% PEFC-certified parquet on request. Please always ask specifically before placing an order whether certified raw material is available.
